The tiny perforations create capillaryaction, a force that pulls liquid from the inside of the glove “up-hill” (against the force of gravity) to the outer surface. As the moisture evaporates, a pleasant “cooling” sensation is felt. And as liquid is drawn to the surface, the “stickiness” of the grip increases.
